Technip awarded contract by Subsea 7 for the supply of all risers and some of the flowlines for the Chinguetti field, the first oil development offshore Mauritania. Technip's contract includes the engineering, procurement and supply of flexible lines.

AK pharmaceuticals Opens Engineering Centre in Ireland17/10/2004
AK Pharmaceuticals chose Cork as location for its new Engineering Centre of Excellence. Move predicted to create up to 220 new jobs over the next three years. Irish Development Agency (IDA) supporting the international dimension of the project, which involves 85 high calibre jobs.

CB&I awarded lump-sum turnkey contract for LNG peak shaving project in Waterbury, Connecticut. Services provided by CB&I will include design and installation of the plant feed gas pretreatment system, liquefaction and regasification systems, storage tank, and related plant structures and systems necessary to complete the turnkey facility.

ABB Win $100m Sakhalin Oil Platform Order21/10/2004
ABB win contract worth nearly $100m to modify oil platform off the coast of the Russian Far East. Contract for the Molikpaq platform awarded by Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd. - a joint venture between Shell, Mitsui and Mitsubishi.

Technip Awarded Contract for Refinery Hydrotreating Unit21/10/2004
Technip, in consortium with Ingenieria y Construccion Sigdo Koppers, has been awarded a contract (75% Technip) by Enap Refinerias SA for a new hydrotreating unit. Contract to be handled by Technip's engineering centres in Rome and in Bogota.

Fluor to Provide Plant Services for Cognis Corporation22/10/2004
Fluor selected by Cognis to provide plant engineering, procurement and small capital construction services at the company's site in Cincinnati. Fluor will manage work from its office in Cincinnati and have engineers and craft employees on the Cognis site.

Aker Stord to Decommission Shell Flare Tower22/10/2004
Saipem award Aker Stord in Norway a subcontract for decommissioning and disposal (re-circulation/reuse) of flare tower and anchor blocks. This follows Shell's award to Saipem UK earlier earlier this year for removal of the flare tower for the A and B platforms and concrete anchor blocks for the previously removed Spar on the Shell UK Brent field.

BHP Billiton Approves Spence Copper Project26/10/2004

Fluor to Build Chemical Plant in Runcorn02/11/2004

CB&I To Work On Two Large U.K. Offshore Wind Farm Developments08/11/2004

Mott MacDonald awarded contract to act as technical advisors by the Bulgarian government to develop a €18 million EIB-funded new wastewater treatment plant and related sewerage infrastructure in Haskovo, Bulgaria. Contracting work will be carried out in Bulgaria.

Saipem Wins Kashagan Pipeline Contract Offshore Kazakhstan10/11/2004
Saipem awarded contract for construction and installation of the offshore pipeline system as part of the development of the Kashagan field located in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea. Scope of work comprises engineering, procurement of bulk materials, coating, laying and pre-commissioning of pipelines, fibre optic cables and umbilicals.

CB&I Wins EPC Contract For LNG Import Terminal In Wales11/11/2004
CB&I awarded a lump-sum turnkey contract for Phase 1 of a grassroots LNG import terminal in Milford Haven, Wales. Scope includes ship unloading system, LNG storage tanks, and a regasification and sendout system. Marine works include major refurbishment of existing jetty.

Aker Kvaerner Win Hydro and ConocoPhillips Contracts16/11/2004
Aker Kvaerner awarded two new contracts by Hydro and ConocoPhillips. Project management, engineering and procurement will be carried out in Norway in co-operation between Kvaerner Process Systems and Aker Kvaerner Engineering and Technology. ConocoPhillips and their contractor AMEC in Aberdeen will manage assembly and construction.

Technip Awarded Contract by Marathon For Alvheim Field19/11/2004
Technip awarded EPCI contract by Marathon for installation of the sub sea system for the Alvheim field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Contract includes design and supply of all line pipes, flexible pipes, umbilicals, riser bases and manifolds. Installation work scheduled to take place during summer 2006.
