| Kårstø Upgrade Approved | 01/03/2007 |
Gassled partners approved estimated NOK 350-400 million compressor upgrade at Kårstø. Plans call for project completion by 1 October 2008. Compressors at Kårstø processing complex north of Stavanger will be upgraded after a turnaround in 2008 as part of a larger upgrading and re-equipping project there.  |
| AMEC Consortium Awarded National Grid Contract | 09/03/2007 |
Consortium comprising AMEC, Babcock International and Mott MacDonald, awarded five-year, £500m (AMEC's share: £237.5 million) contract to form an integrated Alliance with National Grid for upgrade of overhead power lines and underground cables across western half of England and all of Wales.  |
| Centrica Contract Award for PSN with New Humber Office | 14/03/2007 |
PSN awarded 3 year contract by Centrica Storage Ltd as one of their providers of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation design services at the Rough gas storage facility and Easington terminal. The Rough gas storage facility is the largest storage facility in the UK and is situated in the Southern North Sea, approximately 18 miles off the east coast of Yorkshire, together with an onshore gas processing terminal at Easington, approximately 27 miles south east of Hull.  |
| E.ON and Lunar Energy to Build Tidal Stream Power Stations | 20/03/2007 |
E.ON and Lunar Energy to develop tidal stream power project of up to 8MW in the sea off the U.K. west coast. The multi-million pound project would be one of the largest commercial scale tidal stream energy plants of its kind in the world, capable of producing enough power for up to 5,000 homes. The proposed scheme will use tidal streams, which are fast-moving currents created by rising and falling tides, to turn an array of large turbines situated on the sea floor.  |

The joint venture brings together a unique capability focused on delivering the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority's aim and objectives. In particular, the team has a strong safety culture, experience of delivering change and innovation and a track record of open and transparent engagement with a wide range of stakeholders.  |
| Babcock Appointed EDF Energy Networks Alliance Partner | 28/03/2007 |
Babcock International Group PLC has announced that its Networks business has been appointed as alliance partner to EDF Energy Networks for the delivery of overhead transmission line works in the East of England, the South East and London. Babcock Networks has widespread experience in alliance partnering, and through Eve, its power transmission division, it has recognised expertise in the field of overhead transmission line design and engineering.  |
| E.ON UK Completes Contracts for Construction of CHP Stations | 29/03/2007 |
E.ON UK signs deal with National Grid's Grain LNG terminal that will make its £500m 1,275MW new power station into one of the world's largest combined heat and power (CHP) plants. The company also announced that the new Grain power station will be built under a turnkey contract by Alstom.  |
| Jacobs Receives South East Water Contract | 17/04/2007 |
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced today that they received a five-year engineering consultancy agreement from South East Water Ltd. Officials estimated the contract value at $1.8 million per year. As one of two framework appointees, Jacobs will provide engineering and related services supporting the company's capital investment program to 2010, as well as assisting business plan development for the 2010 - 2015 period.  |
| Petrofac Brownfield Concentrates on New Export Pipeline | 19/04/2007 |
Petrofac Brownfield to work on new topside modifications for North Sea installation. Brownfield is committed to the design, procurement and delivery process on the Kittiwake platform, which is located 100 miles east north east of Aberdeen, to meet the completion target date of 1 October 2007.  |
| Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) Awarded Shell Contract | 20/04/2007 |
Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd appointed by Shell U.K. Limited ("Shell") to provide engineering design, maintenance, support and construction management services (EMSC) to Shell's onshore installations at St Fergus Gas Plant, Fife Natural Gas & Liquids Plant at Mossmorran, and Fife Braefoot Bay Loading Terminal plus offshore support for the Goldeneye platform. The onshore facilities process Natural Gas Liquids coming from offshore facilities into higher value components such as Ethane, Propane and Butane.  |
