Bristow Helicopters Wins Shell Contract23/01/2005
Bristow Helicopters awarded seven year contract worth almost £200 million by Shell E & P, incorporating the central and southern sectors of the North Sea.

BP West of Shetland Award for Subsea 723/01/2005
Subsea 7 awarded contract from BP for work associated with the Schiehallion Infill and Foinaven Water Injection pipelay projects, off the West of Shetland. Includes engineering, procurement, transportation, installation and testing of both a 10" NB production pipeline and a 10" NB water injection pipeline, respectively.

Statoil Award Langeled Contract to Subsea 725/01/2005
Subsea 7 awarded contract from Statoil on behalf of the Langeled Group with Norsk Hydro as operator, for tie-in of the Langeled pipeline to subsea valves and structures. Work will be performed under the existing Statoil Hyperbaric Welding and Diving Services Contingency Contract, which has been extended to accommodate this workscope.

BHP Billiton Extends Petrofac Contract25/01/2005
Petrofac awarded 5-year extension of its current contract with BHP Billiton for onshore and offshore operations manpower and construction services to the Liverpool Bay Asset.

Aker Kvaerner secures GBP30 million contract from BP01/02/2005
AK Engineering Services win multi-million pound contract to service two major onshore facilities for BP in the UK. Work will be performed by 150 personnel from the firm's Stockton facility and from sister organisations in Aberdeen and Solent over the next three years.

Technip Win Pipeline Contract for Caledonia's Johnston Field03/02/2005
Technip awarded EPCI contract by Caledonia E.U for development of the Johnston field in the Southern part of the North Sea. Technip's engineering center based in Aberdeen, UK, will undertake the project management, design and installation of a 6.7km flexible flowline and 6.7km control umbilical, as well as complete all associated tie-ins and testing and pre-commissioning works. Other manufacturing centres involved.

Shell Award UK SNS and Norway Contracts to Expro09/02/2005
Expro awarded two contracts by Shell Exploration and Production Europe for the provision of Wireline and Well Test services across Shell EPE's operations. Work to be managed and implemented by Expro staff in Aberdeen and Great Yarmouth within the UK, Den Helder in Holland and Bergen in Norway.

AMEC and National Grid Transco Sign £280m Alliance Contract13/02/2005
AMEC win eight year alliance contract worth approximately £280 million from National Grid Transco to replace gas mains along the M1 corridor between Sheffield and Leicester. Work will be carried out by a joint AMEC and NGT alliance team, which will commence in Sheffield, Nottingham and Derby on 1 April 2005 and in Leicester a year later.

New Lease of Life for the Northern Producer19/02/2005

Kvaerner Power Wins Boiler Contracts for UPM Paper Mills24/02/2005
Kvaerner Power awarded contracts for power boilers by UPM's paper mills in United Kingdom and France. UPM will build power plants with bioenergy production at their paper mills in northeastern Wales, UK and in northwestern France near Paris.

KBR Wins Egyptian Contract With Bapetco25/02/2005
KBR awarded contract to provide engineering and support services to the Badr Petroleum Company (Bapetco) for three new but related projects for the Obaiyed Gas Plant in Egypt. Engineering work has already started in Aberdeen and is expected to employ approximately 50 people.

Weir Westgarth Awarded Contract on Capixaba Project26/02/2005
Weir Westgarth Ltd, part of Techna Division of The Weir Group PLC awarded a sulphate removal process plant contract on Capixaba project, the latest development in the Golfinho Oilfield, by Petrobras. Plant to be engineered in Glasgow by Weir Westgarth.

CB&I Wins Phase II Award for LNG Import Terminal03/03/2005
South Hook LNG Terminal Company award CB&I lump-sum turnkey contract for Phase II of new liquefied natural gas import terminal to be built near Milford Haven, Wales, U.K. Project is being executed through the CB&I John Brown office in London.

J P Kenny Wins Contract for Zadco's Zakum Pipeline03/03/2005
J P Kenny, subsidiary of Wood Group, awarded contract by Zadco for design of potential replacement Zakum Main Oil Line in the United Arab Emirates of Abu Dhabi. Work will be carried out jointly by J P Kenny's offices in Abu Dhabi and London.

Costain AMP4 Contract Wins from United Utilities04/03/2005
Costain selected by United Utilities as one of its preferred bidder partners for some 40% of its £2.9 billion asset management programme ("AMP4") over the next five years. United Utilities is awarding contracts for designing the upgrades and improvements to its water and wastewater treatment works and major sewer overflow schemes.

Varg Riser Replacement for Subsea 704/03/2005
Stolt Subsea 7 joint venture awarded contract from Talisman Production Norge AS for replacement of a 10" production riser on the Varg field, in the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

AMEC awarded contract for hook-up and commissioning support of Buzzard oil and gas production platform in central North Sea. Work will be undertaken in 2005 and 2006.

AMEC Wins Talisman Tweedsmuir Contract to Modify Piper 'B'21/03/2005
AMEC awarded contract by Talisman Energy (UK) Limited to substantially modify Piper B platform to receive oil and gas from Talisman's new Tweedsmuir field in the central North Sea. Contract covers detailed engineering, procurement and installation of the facilities.

Aker Kvaerner Wins Dungeness A Contract from British Nuclear21/03/2005
AK Engineering Services secure contract from British Nuclear Group Project Services for work at Dungeness A Power Station in Kent. Scope of work, to be executed from the firm's Stockton office, comprises engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of FED (Fuel Element Debris) Waste Retrieval Equipment.

Foster Wheeler Awarded $53 Million Biomass Boiler Contract23/03/2005
Foster Wheeler Energy Limited awarded $53 million contract by SembCorp Utilities UK Limited. SembCorp is creating new stand-alone biomass-fueled power station at its Wilton International site on Teesside. Foster Wheeler will utilise their local office in Teesside to manage the execution of the project in collaboration with SembCorp.

Tektonisk Wins 2nd Major AMEC Contract24/03/2005
Tektonisk secure second major contract from AMEC to provide supply chain gathering, validation and handover services for major North Sea project being executed in Aberdeen.

Petrofac Secures $125M Kuwait Contract28/03/2005
Petrofac secures major maintenance contract with Kuwait Oil Company. Petrofac will establish an in-country base including office, workshop and warehouse facilities. Around 650 people to be employed on full contract operations during six-month mobilization period.

AMEC Awarded Gas Contract by Scottish and Southern Energy30/03/2005
AMEC awarded a £53 million contract to design and deliver new gas storage facility at Aldbrough near Hornsea, East Yorkshire for Scottish and Southern Energy. Engineering design being carried out at AMEC's Darlington operations centre.
