Approval for Major Wind Farm Project16/7/2002
AMEC and Corus have received planning permission from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council to develop the UK's largest 'brownfield' wind farm in the North East. The 18-turbine wind farm will be designed and developed by AMEC and Corus on Corus' 911 hectare steelworks site near Redcar in Teesside.
