Wood Group Awarded Three Year Contract Extension by Hess Limited
Wood Group has been reappointed for three years as the prime contractor by Hess Limited and co-venturers to provide operations & maintenance services to the Triton FPSO operating in the Bittern, and Greater Guillemot Area, located 140 miles east of Aberdeen. The contract also has three further one-year extension options and is estimated to be worth up to £50million per year.

Wood Group is also providing operations and maintenance support to Hess's operations offshore in Equatorial Guinea.

The Triton FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessel) - a double hulled vessel - is located in block 21/30, approximately 190km (140 miles) east of Aberdeen, in 300ft of water. The facility is operated by Hess Limited, with all topsides support services being provided by Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd.
