Cape Wins £7.5 Million, 5 Year Contract with BHP

Cape Cape is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a five year fabric maintenance contract, providing a range of services in support of BHP Billiton Petroleum`s Liverpool Bay Assets in the Irish Sea.

BHP Billiton has a significant oil and gas business, with producing operations in Australia, the UK, the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Pakistan and Algeria.

The contract, which commences immediately, will encompass Cape providing painting and corrosion protection services together with optional services including access, vessel cleaning and thermal insulation on the Douglas, Lennox, Hamilton and Hamilton North Platforms in the Irish Sea.

Cape`s relationship with BHP Billiton now extends from the Worsley alumina refineries in Western Australia, and it`s Olympic Dam multi-mineral ore site in South Australia, to the Irish Sea in the UK.
