PSN To Create 400 New Jobs in Next 100 Days
To celebrate 100 days as Production Services Network (PSN), CEO Bob Keiller has pledged to deliver at least 400 new jobs in the next 100 days.
Bob Keiller, said: "Since PSN's birth on 1st May 2006 we have won major contracts worth more than $400 million, started to deliver a comprehensive programme of enhanced staff benefits, been nominated for three Northern Star Business Awards and Scottish Business Insider's dealmaker of the year. We have employed, on average, two people every working hour. We have invested tens of thousands of pounds in local community schemes, like Aberdeen's Transition Extreme Sports Centre, the Pitcaple environment project and Aberdeenshire Rugby Football Club.
"PSN is a new Scottish company buzzing with fresh ideas. We're confident PSN is where the best people want to work.
"We will create 400 new jobs in the next 100 days. 100 of these new jobs will be for oil and gas industry newcomers. People will join as graduates, or through our innovative Re-Engineer Career Conversion Programme which fast tracks ex-armed forces personnel to the energy industry. Electrical and instrumentation, structural and piping design trainees will join through the new PSN Design Academy opening in September.
"100 new jobs will be based overseas.
"100 jobs, across all disciplines and functions, will be created onshore. An additional 100 new jobs will be created offshore.
"Over the past five years, our turnover has increased by 130%. International business activity has increased by 250%. This success is founded on the talent, loyalty and hard work of our people. I look forward to welcoming 400 new faces to our growing network."
