Expro Group Open New Expro Technology Centre in Aberdeen
Expro International Group has officially opened its new Expro Technology Centre in Aberdeen on Tuesday, September 6, to cater for its continued expansion.
The prestigious 10,000 sq ft building, the first to be occupied in the new Aberdeen Business Park, near Aberdeen Airport, was officially opened by the Group's chairman, Dr Chris Fay CBE. The opening was also attended by the Group's CEO Graeme Coutts, Group Engineering manager Andy Donaldson and Expro staff. The centre is conveniently located beside Expro's Lion House region headquarters in Dyce.
The centre, which has capacity on two floors, brings together Expro's rapidly expanding engineering division under one roof. The team has doubled in size in the past six months and is expected to rise further by the end of 2005.
Graeme Coutts commented: "The establishment of this Group Technology Centre in Aberdeen sends a clear message of Expro's strategic intent and must be seen as very positive for both our business and the local area."
Andy Donaldson said: "Grouping our engineers together in this new centre marks a major milestone in the creation of a world class engineering function for the Expro Group. It will enable us to deliver an even better service to clients."
Expro employs some 750 of its 2400 global workforce in Aberdeen.
