AMEC Opens Earth & Environmental Office Near Detroit

AMEC has opened an Earth & Environmental office near Detroit, establishing the firm's first office in Michigan.

Located at 10524 East Grand River Avenue in Brighton, the office offers commercial and governmental clients a complete range of environmental engineering and consulting services, including investigation and remediation projects involving contaminated soil and groundwater. The new office's phone number is (810) 220-8941.

"We have had important clients in the Midwest for many years and now are pleased to offer broader and more local services to these clients and others as we move forward with expansion in this part of the United States," said Elaine Moore, Executive Vice President of AMEC's Earth & Environmental operations in the U.S.

The office is managed by Michael DeLong, an environmental expert with 15 years of experience in environmental management and engineering industry. His project management and field experience includes emergency response to hazardous site material incidents, investigation of and removal activities at Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) sites and remedial investigations at rail yards.
