Wood Group Expands Operations
The company intends to target important growth regions in Upstream, Midstream and Downstream engineering within the Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Former Soviet Union. Wood Group has also acquired Surrey-based Woodhill Engineering Consultants to enhance its London-based engineering capability. Frontier Engineering, Wood Group's facilities consultancy company in the UK, will be integrated with Woodhill. Woodhill Frontier will expand their capability in facilities and safety consultancy, and in concept definition and FEED for small field developments, and will provide a resource base to support the Mustang operation. Wood Group has expanded its Eastern Hemisphere engineering base. Subsidiary Mustang Engineering, the offshore engineering design house in Houston, has opened a new office in London as part of its global expansion strategy.
