Fluor Awarded First Petrochemical Project in Egypt
Fluor employees from its Haarlem, Netherlands, office, supported by experts from the Chemical Technology Center in Greenville, S.C., will work with Egyptian engineering and construction contractors. Work on the project began in December 2003, and Fluor started work on the project in February 2004. The team expects to complete the project in 30 months. luor has been awarded its first petrochemical project management work in Egypt. The contract award from Egyptian Linear Alkyl Benzene (E-LAB) is to manage the development of a new facility, located in Alexandria, Egypt.
