Wood Group awarded £250m North Sea contract with TalismanWood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd (Wood Group Engineering), a subsidiary of John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") has been awarded a five-year contract from Talisman Energy (UK) Limited, a subsidiary of Talisman Energy Inc, to provide engineering, construction, operations and maintenance services on all of Talisman's nine UK assets The contract will be worth in excess of £50 million per annum and will begin 1st November 2003. It is expected the work will be carried out from Wood Group's offices in Aberdeen. Wood Group Engineering will work closely with Talisman and all other parties concerned, to ensure a safe and smooth transition period, with emphasis on health, safety and the environment.
