TotalFinaElf Change NameTotalFinaElf SA have approved a resolution at their annual share holders' meeting to change the company's name to Total SA. Almost 98.6% of shareholders present or represented at the meeting voted in favour of the move. The company says the new name is part of an effort to improve the company's image and will be part of a wider program to create and image as an environmentally and socially conscious citizen of the world. The company is also going to publish an ethics review and launch a program of environmental initiatives. |
