Wood Group win Talisman ContractWood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd (WGENS) has been awarded an upgrade contract by Talisman Energy (UK) Limited for the Tartan V4LP production separator. The fast track contract is valued at £1.5 million, and has an expected completion date of mid-May 2003. WGENS' workscope for the Tartan field includes the provision of design, procurement and construction services for the removal and installation of new equipment on the V4 production vessel, and other modifications work designed to enhance the rate of hydrocarbon recovery and achieve Talisman's environmental targets for reducing oil in water discharges. |
