Wood Group Engineering win Exxonmobil contract
Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd, based in Aberdeen, recently announced the award of a contract from Mobil North Sea Limited (MNSL), an ExxonMobil subsidiary.
Contractors Unlimited were not advised of the contract value.
The contract is for the engineering, procurement and construction of modifications to MNSL's SAGE plant at St Fergus. The STE (SAGE Terminal Extension) project is designed to substantially enhance the capacity of the plant to process increased gas flow from the Britannia field. Gas Plant Services won the contract following the successful completion of a similar engineering, procurement and construction contract for MNSL which was completed in 2001.
Winning the MNSL contract means 20 people will be involved in engineering and design activities for the project in Aberdeen while around 30 additional jobs will be created at St Fergus for construction.
