Halliburton ESG wins Contract

TotalFinaElf has awarded Halliburton Energy Services Group (ESG) a contract for its Otter development in the U.K. North Sea.

The contract covers the supply and deployment of lower completion components, along with allied pumping work to gravel pack three subsea horizontal wells which will be completed with electrical submersible pumps.

Although active in screen completions over the last few years, this contract signals ESG's return to providing a full range of sand control services from its base in Aberdeen.

Halliburton are a major employer of contractors in Aberdeen.
