Transco Pipeline Jobs

Transco are likely to award two new pipeline contracts this summer, for work begining spring 2003. The combined project values could exceed £90 million.

The first project, the North Norfolk high pressure gas pipeline, is for a 70 km long pipeline to run from Bacton, near Cromer, to a gas compressor station at East Winch near King's Lynn. The job will include specialised tunnelling techniques to route the pipeline beneath roads, railways and rivers.

The second project is for a 0.9 mile long pipeline to run from Chalgrove, Buckinghamshire, to East Isley, Berkshire.
