WorleyParsons Awarded Contract for Joslyn North Mine Oil Sands Plant

WorleyParsons is pleased to announce the award of a contract from Total E&P Joslyn Ltd for the Total Joslyn North Mine Mineable Oil Sands Plant Project.
The plant is located 65 km northwest of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada, and is scheduled to start-up in early 2017, capable of producing 100,000 bpcd of bitumen. WorleyParsons' scope includes the basic engineering phase for ore preparation, extraction, tailings, froth treatment feasibilities, infrastructure, off-sites and utilities.
Joslyn North Mine Oil Sands Plant
Work has commenced at WorleyParsons' office in Calgary, Alberta, and is scheduled for completion during March, 2011. The estimated revenue to WorleyParsons from the contract is in the range of $40M CAD.
