Petrofac Provides Update on Area 22 Well in Don Southwest Field
Petrofac, Operator of the Don development, has provided the following update on the Area 22 well in the Don Southwest field.
As previously advised, a side-track of the Area 22 production well on Don Southwest was expected to be completed in January 2010. Prior to commencement of the side-track, we encountered difficulties retrieving the down-hole completion materials.
This has delayed the side-track drilling operations, which are now ready to recommence. We now anticipate the side-track well to be completed before the end of February 2010, subject to limited weather downtime conditions.
