AMEC Appointed as Technical Consultant for all
KMG Projects
AMEC has been selected by JSC National Company KazMunayGas (KMG), the National Oil Company of Kazakhstan, as a Technical Consultant.
The contract covers consultancy services related to field development planning, programme management, project management and implementation and other associated activities for KMG's oil and gas assets in Kazakhstan, including the Kashagan oil field in the north Caspian Sea, the largest field discovered in the last 30 years. The contract value has not been disclosed.
The services will range from advising on field development plans through design and layouts, operating budgets and schedules, health, safety and environmental reviews and evaluation. AMEC's work will support KMG in delivering its strategy to achieve optimum value from its reserves.
