Jacobs Receives Contract for Dye Project in Scotland

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has been awarded a contract to provide engineering, procurement, and construction management services to FUJIFILM Imaging Colorants Limited (FFIC) for a new manufacturing facility located at Grangemouth, Scotland.

FFIC is a world leader in the development and supply of innovative, high-performance colorants for the global digital printing market.

The project, for which Jacobs already completed the design, is for a new inkjet dyes production line within an existing facility. The contract value was not disclosed. Jacobs will execute the project from its offices in Glasgow.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Phil Stassi said, "This is FFIC's first partnership with Jacobs. We are very proud they selected us to help strengthen their competitive position and we are extremely excited about the possibilities for our new collaboration."
