Jacobs Selected by GlaxoSmithKline as Singapore Alliance Contractor

Jacobs Engineering Group's Singapore operations were selected by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) as their Alliance Contractor at the two GSK manufacturing facilities in Singapore.

Officials did not disclose the contract value of this multi-million dollar, two-year contract.

Jacobs will provide engineering, procurement, project management, construction management, and validation services. The Alliance will encompass multiple projects in support of GSK's ongoing capital investment program. This is the first Alliance program for GSK in Singapore.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Walter Barber stated, "We are very pleased that GSK has selected us to be their Alliance Partner. This is the culmination of several years of working with them in Singapore. We appreciate the confidence that our client has placed in our Singapore staff and we are committed to delivering superior value to GSK."
