Jacobs Awarded Four-Year Contract Extension From Dow

Jacobs Engineering Group have received a four-year contract extension from Dow Chemical of Canada Inc. to provide industrial maintenance services at Dow's petrochemical complex in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada.

The C$100 million (US $90.4 million), four-year contract scope includes maintenance services, sustaining capital support, turnarounds, and scaffold erection and dismantling. Over recent years, Jacobs has maintained approximately 400 craft personnel onsite at this facility and provided approved cost-savings initiatives nearing half-a-million dollars since October 2005.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Executive Vice President Greg Landry stated, "We're pleased to provide this full slate of industrial services focused on safety and reliability. With consistently excellent quality survey scores, we are truly committed to continuous improvement at Dow's facility."
