The Business Case for Low Carbon Power
An International Perspective

On 19 March 2007, Vivienne Cox, BP's Executive Vice President and CEO of Gas, Power & Renewables and Shipping gave a speech entitled "The Business Case for Low Carbon Power - An International Perspective".

Her speech was given at the Energy Institute, New Delhi, India and discussed what BP is doing around the world, focussing in particular on BP Alternative Energy and the generation of power from low carbon sources such as solar, wind, gas and hydrogen.

She also discussed BP's activities in India, in particular, Tata BP Solar, the joint venture formed with Tata nearly two decades ago.
