Jacobs Receives Contract For New CCGT Power Plant

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has received a contract from POWEO Production to provide owner engineer support for a new power plant at Pont-sur-Sambre (59), France.

This facility will be the first production unit operated by POWEO Group; it has been an electricity trader on the French energy market for almost 4 years. This new 400 MWe combined cycle Gas turbine (CCGT) plant will confirm POWEO Group positioning on the open energy market and secure their production.

This award follows Jacobs' successful completion of site identification and permitting upstream activities for this project.
