| Progress On Wave Power Development | 05/09/2006 |
The Scottish Executive intends to support a new project in wave power technology that will harness energy from the seas around Scotland, it was confirmed recently. Speaking following a visit to the Pelamis wave energy project at Peniche in Portugal - set up by Edinburgh-based Ocean Power Delivery (OPD) - Enterprise Minister Nicol Stephen said he was determined to see similar devices operating in Scottish waters by summer 2007.  |

Talisman Energy Inc.announces major new natural gas play. Over the past year, the Company has acquired a significant land position in the Western Canadian Basin along the "Outer Foothills" trend of the Rocky Mountains. The acreage lies in a relatively undeveloped part of the basin, east of and running parallel to Talisman's existing Foothills play in both Alberta and British Columbia.  |
| 3i Sells Stake in Rovtech to Fugro | 06/09/2006 |
Dutch multi-national oilfield services company Fugro N.V. acquires Rovtech Ltd for a total amount of £34.5 million. Rovtech Ltd., with its headquarters in Aberdeen, is a provider of ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) services to the oil and gas industry, specialised in the inspection, repair and maintenance and rig support sector.  |
| ExxonMobil Announces Start of Sakhalin-1 Exports | 11/09/2006 |
Exxon Mobil Corporation announces that its subsidiary, Exxon Neftgas Limited, has commissioned the crude oil export system for the multiphase Sakhalin-1 project offshore Russia, bringing to eight the total of ExxonMobil-operated startups within the last 12 months.  |
| Petro-Canada Purchases Oil Sands Leases | 11/09/2006 |
Petro-Canada purchases 13 additional oil sands leases for $30 million. The leases comprise a total of 31,232 hectares immediately adjacent to Petro-Canada's existing in situ development at MacKay River.  |
| McDermott Forms New Power Organisation | 11/09/2006 |
McDermott International announces strategic realignment of its businesses operating within the power industry. Effective January 1, 2007, the Company will consolidate its BWX Technologies, Inc. subsidiary ("BWXT") and The Babcock & Wilcox Company subsidiary ("B&W"), into a single entity operating as The Babcock & Wilcox Companies ("BWC").  |
| Gas Condensate Discovery In North Sea For Eni | 11/09/2006 |
Eni discoveres gas condensate field in the Central North Sea. The field, located on the boundary of blocks 30/6 and 30/7a, is approximately nine kilometres west of the existing Judy development, in water depths of up to 81 meters.  |
| Venture Enters Into Deals with North Sea Gas Partners | 14/09/2006 |
Venture Production announces that it has entered into two deals with North Sea Gas Partners Ltd ('NSGP'). The first is the sale of a gross 75% stake in Venture's Ensign discovery to NSGP. The second is a farm-out of Venture's forthcoming Amanda appraisal and Agatha exploration wells.  |
| Eni Sign Agreement with Gazprom | 14/09/2006 |
Eni's CEO Paolo Scaroni and Gazprom's CEO Alexei Miller have established guidelines for an agreement between the two companies. The agreement will focus on the upstream and downstream sectors including oil, natural gas, power and liquefied natural gas.  |
| E.ON UK and Ocean Prospect Co-operate on Wave Power Project | 14/09/2006 |
E.ON UK and Ocean Prospect announce their agreement to work together to develop proposals for a potential 5MW wave power project in the sea off Cornwall. The pioneering scheme would be connected to Wave Hub, an offshore electrical 'socket' developed by the South West of England Regional Development Agency.  |
| BP and Gazprom Announce LNG Supply Deal | 14/09/2006 |
BP and Gazprom Marketing & Trading, the UK subsidiary of energy giant OAO Gazprom, announce they have reached an agreement for BP to supply a number of liquefied natural gas cargoes which Gazprom Marketing & Trading will market in the Atlantic Basin.  |
| DTI Launch New Investment In Energy Initiative | 14/09/2006 |
A prospectus, published today by the UK DTI, invites expressions of interest from the private sector and sets out the vision and proposals for the planned Energy Technologies Institute. The UK Government is offering to commit £500m to the Institute over the next decade and is looking for the same level of commitment from the private sector.  |
| Statoil and Pertamina Sign Cooperation Agreement | 18/09/2006 |
Memorandum of Understanding signed by Indonesian national oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) and Statoil ASA, covering cooperation between the two companies. The MoU provides the framework for analysing and pursuing joint business opportunities in the area of exploration and production, initially in Indonesia and then potentially other countries.  |
| Wind Hydrogen Acquires Mount Gellibrand Wind Farm in Victoria | 18/09/2006 |
Australian-based international renewable energy company, Wind Hydrogen Limited, enters into an asset purchase agreement for the rights to Australia's most powerful wind farm, the 232MW Mount Gellibrand project in Victoria. Purchase of the Mount Gellibrand project, estimated at $460m on completion, marks Wind Hydrogen as a major investor in Australia's maturing renewable energy sector.  |
| Foster Wheeler Enters into License Agreement In China | 18/09/2006 |
Foster Wheeler Ltd's subsidiary Foster Wheeler North America Corp., a unit of the Global Power Group, enters into a fifteen-year agreement with Wuxi Huaguang Boiler Co., Ltd. ("Wuxi") to provide a technology license for subcritical pressure circulating fluidized-bed (CFB) steam generators to be sold in China. The agreement also contemplates Foster Wheeler utilizing Wuxi as a major supplier for projects located outside of China.  |
| Subsea Equipment Repairs To Delay Thunder Horse Until 2008 | 19/09/2006 |
Following a series of tests carried out over the past four months that revealed metallurgical failure in components of the subsea system, BP plans to retrieve and rebuild all the sea-bed production equipment from its Thunder Horse field in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. BP said the problem became evident when it conducted pre-commissioning tests by pumping water through the system to establish system integrity.  |
| Hydro Sign Exploration Agreement in Iran | 21/09/2006 |
Hydro signs exploration and development agreement with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). The agreement covers the Khorramabad block in Lurestan province in south-western Iran. The block, which is 7,424 square kilometres in area, is located at a height of 1,200 metres roughly 500 kilometres from Teheran. Hydro submitted the winning bid in an international tender held in May 2005.  |

| Chevron Pursue Joint Research Into Next-Generation Biofuels | 22/09/2006 |
Chevron Corporation and the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) form strategic research collaboration to pursue advanced technology aimed at converting cellulosic biomass into transportation fuels. The joint research effort will coordinate with the California Biomass Collaborative to focus on renewable feedstocks available in California, including agricultural waste such as rice straw.  |

BP America plans major expansion of its Houston-based operations on the city's west side energy corridor to accommodate an employee and contractor population that could grow by 2,000 to about 8,000 by 2010. The recent acquisition of more than 50 acres adjacent to BP's WestLake campus solidified the three-phased plan.  |

ExxonMobil Chemical to build new facility at its Baton Rouge, Louisiana, complex to produce specialty compounded products. The investment is part of the company's global compounding strategy and commitment to provide engineered thermoplastic materials to the automotive and consumer products industries.  |
| BP Alaska Gets DOT Clearance to Re-start Prudhoe Bay Eastern Operating Area | 25/09/2006 |
BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. will re-start a portion of the Eastern Operating Area of Prudhoe Bay in order to run cleaning pigs and conduct an in-line inspection of the crude oil transit line using a "smart pig". The eastern portion of Prudhoe Bay was shut down on August 10 following discovery of a spill caused by isolated pitting corrosion on August 6.  |

Jacobs Engineering negotiates renewal of its Alliance agreement with Rohm and Haas to provide engineering, construction, construction management, maintenance, and procurement services at multiple Rohm and Haas sites. Rohm and Haas, based in Philadelphia, is a major manufacturer of specialty chemicals, adhesives, salts, and related products.  |
| Petrofac Brownfield Delivers Goosander Tie-Back Ahead of Schedule | 27/09/2006 |
Petrofac Brownfield successfully delivers subsea tie-back from Goosander field to Venture Production-owned Kittiwake installation safely and a month ahead of schedule. The Goosander development project comprises a single production well which is tied back to the Kittiwake platform through a bundled subsea flow-line providing production, gas lift and water injection facilities.  |
| Venture Begins Two Year Southern North Sea Drilling Programme | 27/09/2006 |
Venture Production, the Aberdeen headquartered UK independent oil and gas production company, announces that the Noble Julie Robertson ('NJR') jack-up drilling rig has arrived on contract to begin a two year drilling campaign in the southern North Sea. The drilling campaign covers a balanced mix of development, appraisal and lower risk exploration drilling, principally in and around Venture's 'A' Fields gas production hub.  |
| Talisman Acquires Fulmar and Auk Fields in the North Sea | 03/10/2006 |
Talisman Energy (UK) Limited reaches agreement with Shell U.K. Limited and Esso Exploration and Production UK Limited, an ExxonMobil subsidiary, to acquire their combined 85.81% interest in the Fulmar unitized field (Blocks 30/11b and 30/16s) and a 100% interest in the Auk field (Blocks 30/16n and 30/16t) in the Central North Sea.  |

Linder is a full-service, multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm with over 300 people and 25 years of experience in the upstream/offshore market. They offer a comprehensive suite of engineering and support services; with their core services tailored to the oil & gas sector.  |
| Talisman Energy to Sell Non-Core Assets in North America | 30/10/2006 |
Talisman Energy Inc. initiating process to sell select properties in North America. This program is part of the previously announced plan to surface value for the Company's non-core assets. The Company intends to use any cash proceeds from these asset sales to repurchase Talisman shares.  |
| Talisman Energy Exploration Success in Buchan Field Area | 30/10/2006 |
Talisman Energy (UK) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Talisman Energy Inc. made new oil discovery in UK Outer Moray Firth adjacent to the Buchan and Tweedsmuir Fields. The discovery was made in Block 20/5a where Talisman has a 94.43% equity interest with First Oil Expro Ltd. holding the remaining 5.57%.  |
