Three men reported injured in an explosion at 7 am this morning at GlaxoSmithKline's site in Shewalton Road, Irvine, Scotland. Ambulances sent to scene and casualties taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock.  |
| Centrica Agreement to Double its Interest in Statfjord Field | 07/03/2006 |
Centrica reaches agreement with Britoil plc, a subsidiary of BP plc, to double its interest in the Statfjord oil and gas field in the northern North Sea. Under industry rules as an existing shareholder in the field, Centrica has exercised its pre-emption right to match a bid of £151 million to acquire BP's 4.84 per cent interest.  |
| Total and PetroChina Sign Production Sharing Contract | 08/03/2006 |
Total and PetroChina sign Production Sharing Contract for evaluation, development and production of natural gas resources of South Sulige block of Ordos Basin, an area of around 2,390 square kilometres located in the Province of Inner Mongolia, onshore China. The contract is subject to approval by Chinese authorities.  |

Sir Ian Wood, Chairman and Chief Executive, Wood Group commented his business has plenty of cash at its disposal for possible acquisitions. He was speaking after the company declared profits for last year had increased by 27%.  |
| CO2 for Enhanced Oil Recovery Offshore | 09/03/2006 |
Shell and Statoil sign agreement to work towards developing the world's largest project using carbon dioxide (CO2) for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) offshore. Concept involves capturing CO2 from power generation and utilising it to enhance oil recovery, resulting in increased energy production with lower CO2 impact.  |

Mustang Engineering, part of Yhe John Wood Group, acquires Global Performance Holdings, Inc., a provider of project management, construction management, and engineering & design services to the chemical, process and industrial sectors.  |
| Shell's Tern Alpha Platform Evacuated Due to Electrical Fire | 16/03/2006 |
An electrical fire caused nearly 130 personnel to be taken off North Sea oil platform. Aberdeen Coastguard transferred non-essential workers from the Tern Alpha platform situated 107 miles off Shetland in the North Sea. Four helicopters were involved in the evacuation along with an RAF Nimrod.  |
| KBR Sells Aberdeen-based Production Services Business | 16/03/2006 |
KBR reaches agreement to sell the Production Services group, part of the company's Energy and Chemicals division, through a transaction which is expected to close in the second quarter of 2006. KBR is the engineering, construction and services subsidiary of Halliburton. Following the sale, the group will operate under the name Production Services Network.  |
| Government Shakeup of North Sea Unused Blocks | 21/03/2006 |
Eighty previously licensed North Sea blocks that are inactive are to receive a shake up in the the 24th Offshore Oil and Gas Licensing Round announced by Energy Minister Malcolm Wicks. The blocks were recently given up under the Government's Fallow process which seeks to put blocks and discoveries in the hands those who can best exploit them.  |
| ExxonMobil Signs Agreements for Upper Zakum Oil Field Participation | 31/03/2006 |
Exxon Mobil Corporation and subsidiaries agreements with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) through which ExxonMobil Abu Dhabi Offshore Petroleum Company Limited (EMAD) receives a 28 percent undivided interest out of ADNOC's 88 percent interest in the Upper Zakum Oil Field. This will leave ADNOC with a 60 percent interest and Japan Oil Development Company Limited (JODCO) will continue to hold the remaining 12 percent interest.  |
| Government Offers £80m for Technology Projects | 03/04/2006 |
UK business to get £80million to support technology innovation, Trade and Industry Secretary Alan Johnson announced March 28th. The money, announced by the Secretary of State during his budget address to Parliament, is latest round of Government's £370 million Technology Programme that aims to create wealth for the UK economy through innovation.  |
| Burlington Resources Stockholders Approve ConocoPhillips Merger | 03/04/2006 |
Burlington Resources' proposed merger with ConocoPhillips approved at special meeting of stockholders held on March 30 in Houston, Texas. Merger is expected to close on March 31, 2006. Under the terms of the merger agreement, Burlington Resources stockholders will receive $46.50 in cash and 0.7214 shares of ConocoPhillips stock for each share of Burlington Resources stock.  |
| GlaxoSmithKline Montrose Plant Reprieve | 06/04/2006 |
GlaxoSmithKline announces 250 jobs saved at its Montrose plant in Scotland, following an investment of £25m. The site was planned to close in 2007, but was given a reprieve after a review to increase its manufacturing capacity.  |

Stolt Offshore S.A. has announced that following the Extraordinary General Meeting on April 3, 2006 the name of the company will be changed from Monday April 10, 2006 to Acergy S.A.  |
| Gazprom to Meet YPFB | 06/04/2006 |
Gazprom to meet with Bolivia's hydrocarbons minister Andris Soliz and state oil firm YPFB president Jorge Alvarado week beginning April 3 to discuss possible participation in Bolivia's hydrocarbons sector, government news service ABI reported. The Russian company is interested in several areas of the hydrocarbons chain, the statement said.  |

Gazprom signs 25-year agreement with former Soviet republic of Armenia that includes provisions granting the Russian natural gas giant control of part of an Armenian-Iranian gas pipeline and a power-generating unit at the Razdan-5 power plant.  |
| Venture Production Acquires Further Interest in Pilot Field | 07/04/2006 |
Venture Production enters into agreement to acquire Eni's interests in Blocks 21/27a (including the Pilot discovery) and 21/27b. Acquisition will take Venture's stake in Pilot from 47.5% to 80%. Venture is the operator of both 21/27a and 21/27b.  |
| Kazakhstan President Pledges To Double Pipeline Capacity | 07/04/2006 |
Kazakhstan's president pledges to more than double capacity of pipeline transporting crude from his oil-rich country to Russia after talks with his Russian counterpart at which they agreed to step up energy cooperation.  |
| Chevron Successful in Norway's 19th Licensing Round | 07/04/2006 |
Chevron Norge AS successfully bids for exploration rights in six blocks awarded in the 19th Norwegian Licensing Round. Blocks located in Nordkapp East Basin in Norwegian Barents Sea, approximately 155 miles (250 kilometers) north of the coast of Finnmark, in 800 feet (250 meters) of water.  |
| Air Products Completes Sale of Geismar Facility to BASF Corp | 07/04/2006 |
Air Products completes sale of its dinitrotoluene (DNT) production facility in Geismar to BASF Corporation for $155 million on March 31. Air Products announced planned sale on March 22 as part of its Polyurethane Intermediates business restructuring.  |

Europe's private equity company and one of the largest companies in this sector in Spain, concludes agreement to purchase 100% of the share capital of Gamesa Energía y Servicios, S.A. and Siemsa Este, S.A., divisions of Corporación Tecnológica Gamesa. The company specialises in construction and maintenance of wind farms and has a diversified petrochemical automation, construction and maintenance business.  |
| Centrica Secures Coal Priced Electricity Contract with Drax | 11/04/2006 |
Centrica plc secures major five year coal priced electricity supply contract with Drax Power Limited, owner of Drax power station in North Yorkshire. The agreement, which will provide Centrica with access to 600MW of power, brings increased fuel diversity to Centrica's electricity supply mix, enabling it to further stabilise the cost of sourcing electricity to supply its British Gas customers.  |

Babcock International Group PLC ("Babcock" or "the Group") completes its programme of disposals of non-core businesses acquired with Peterhouse Group PLC in 2004. The consideration received for these businesses was £8.0 million, including £2.3 million in unconditional deferred payments.  |
| Atkins Acquires Engineering Consultancy MSL Engineering Ltd | 13/04/2006 |
Atkins, Europe's largest multidisciplinary consultancy, acquires engineering consultancy MSL Engineering Ltd from founding shareholders for cash consideration of £6.8 million. MSL specialises in integrity management of offshore oil and gas installations, with significant contracts in Houston and the Gulf of Mexico.  |
| Chevron Invests to Acquire Position in Jamnagar Export Refinery | 17/04/2006 |
Chevron Corporation to spend approximately $300 million to purchase five percent of Reliance Petroleum Limited (RPL), a company formed by Reliance Industries Limited (Reliance) to own and operate new export refinery being constructed in Jamnagar, India. RPL plans to commence an initial public offering (IPO) with net offering to public of 10 percent of the company from April 13, 2006 until April 20, 2006.  |
| Venture Production Form Strategic Partnership | 19/04/2006 |
Venture Production forms strategic partnership with group of North American based investors to acquire and develop 'stranded' gas assets in southern sector of UK North Sea. The partnership, known as North Sea Gas Partners, will initially have a total of $300 million in commitments, which will invest alongside Venture in acquisition and development opportunities.  |

Fluor Corporation's relocation of its global headquarters currently located in Aliso Viejo, California, USA, to a new corporate campus in Irving, Texas, will be effective Monday, April 24, 2006. Fluor's Global Services business remain in its current North Dallas location.  |
| BP Builds State of the Art Lubricants Blending Plant | 20/04/2006 |
BP held ceremony in Taicang, east China's Jiangsu province, to celebrate start of construction of its dedicated industrial lubricants blending facility in China. With an initial investment of US$22 million, BP will own and operate the largest, most efficient and flexible industrial lubricant facility in China and in the wider BP when it is commissioned by end 2006.  |
| Government Consent to FGD Plant at Fiddler's Ferry Power Station | 20/04/2006 |
Government consent given for construction of flue gas desulphurisation plant at Scottish and Southern Energy's Fiddler's Ferry Power Station in Warrington. The flue gas desulphurisation plant will be designed and operated as a chemical absorption process.  |
| Liquid Gas from Qatar Set to Flow to the UK | 25/04/2006 |
Liquefied gas from the largest field in the world set to provide the UK with up to 20 per cent of its gas demand by 2009 Energy Minister Malcolm Wicks said in advance of joining representatives from more than fifty countries to discuss global energy markets at the International Energy Forum in Doha last weekend.  |

As part of its expansion in the Middle East, Fluor signs agreement to form Fluor Kuwait, a local company in the State of Kuwait, with Fouad Alghanim and Sons General Trading and Contracting Company, W.L.L., a Kuwaiti conglomerate active in various commercial and industrial businesses.  |
