Eni: No Involvement in Pipeline Linking Turkey to Israel
With reference to the news regarding Eni's involvement in the realization of a pipeline linking Turkey to Israel, Eni clarifies that it has never held talks - nor is it planning - to begin construction of pipelines carrying oil, natural gas and water from Turkey's port of Ceyhan to any destination in the Mediterranean Sea, including Israel.
The only initiative that Eni and Calik are carrying out in Turkey is the construction of the Turkish Straits crude oil bypass on the Samsun (Black Sea)-Ceyhan (Mediterranean Sea) route. The licence for the construction of this transportation system has already been granted by Turkey's competent authorities.
