Jacobs Forms Partnership With Kovoprojekta Brno a.s.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has signed a Letter of Intent with Kovoprojekta Brno a.s. (TKB), a top-tier engineering services firm based in Brno, Czech Republic, establishing formal cooperation to jointly execute projects in Central and Eastern Europe.

The firms have worked together over the last 10 years on various projects, many involving sulfur technology. Through this new arrangement, Jacobs and TKB will provide a wider range of services for larger projects to their clients in the petrochemical, refining, manufacturing, buildings, and infrastructure sectors.

TKB has over 200 employees engaged primarily in refining and chemicals, automotive manufacturing, and civil and infrastructure projects.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Andy Kremer stated, "This partnership combines Jacobs' global capabilities in technical consulting, large-project execution, and alliances with TKB's respected, multidisciplinary engineering expertise and extensive knowledge of the local market. Together, we provide higher levels of value to support our clients' investment goals in Central and Eastern Europe. Further, we now offer international job opportunities to the pool of technical professionals in the region."
