Shaw Stone & Webster Awarded Contract by PSEG Nuclear The Shaw Group's Stone & Webster unit has been awarded a maintenance and modifications services contract to provide management modifications and craft labour services for three of PSEG Nuclear LLC's, an affiliate of Public Service Enterprise Group, nuclear-fueled power generating units, two at the Salem Generating Station and one at Hope Creek Generating Station, both located in Lower Alloways Creek, New Jersey.
The services will include the management of maintenance and modifications installation services which includes the management of craft labour for outage and non-outage work assignments. The work will include the installation of capital projects and major maintenance activities. The transition process is already in progress and includes planning for work assignments in early 2006. The contract is expected to cover maintenance and modifications work through 2008 and is valued at over $100 million.
