Jacobs Receives AQMD Rule 1105 Compliance Project From BP

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. have received a contract to provide engineering and procurement services for BP's Air Quality Management District (AQMD) Rule 1105 compliance project at BP's Carson Refinery near Los Angeles, U.S.A.

Officials estimate the overall project value in excess of $80 million, with completion scheduled for 2008.

The project allows BP to meet new AQMD air quality regulations that will go into effect in 2008 by removing particulate emissions.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Peter Evans stated, "Through our seven-year alliance at this site, we have assisted BP in achieving best-in-class ratings for their small capital projects."
