Jacobs Receives NOVA Chemicals Contract

Jacobs Engineering is providing engineering, global procurement, construction management, and modular fabrication services for an expansion project at NOVA Chemicals' Beaver Valley, Pa., USA manufacturing site.

The project combines both grassroots and revamp components into the expanded facility. Jacobs is leading project execution out of their Houston office, with modular construction support from their fabrication facility in Charleston, S.C. This multi-facility approach enables Jacobs to meet aggressive schedule requirements while delivering superior value through a shared design platform for both engineering and construction services.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Peter Evans stated, "We are committed to supporting NOVA Chemicals in increasing their production capabilities to keep pace with rising market demand. We look forward to successfully completing this fast-track project and continuing our successful 14-year relationship."
