BWXT Receives Contract Extensions at Pantex, Y-1208/06/2005
McDermott International subsidiary, BWX Technologies, Inc. receives extension notification by Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration in the U.S. that BWXT's contracts at Pantex Plant, Amarillo, Texas and Y-12 National Security Complex, Oak Ridge, Tenn. will both be extended to 2010.

Chevron to Increase Capacity of Pascagoula Refinery's FCCU23/06/2005
Chevron Global Refining plans to increase capacity of Pascagoula Refinery's Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) by about 25 percent, from current capacity of 63,000 bpd. Construction of the $150 million project expected to begin next month.

Naturkraft Builds Norway's First Gas Power Plant29/06/2005
Naturkraft AS to proceed with the construction of Norway's first commercial onshore gas-fired power plant at Kårstø in Rogaland, western Norway. The plant will be the first of its kind in Europe with a filtering system for nitrogen oxides emissions.


SNC Lavalin and Black & Veatch Consortium Awarded Contract29/06/2005

Foster Wheeler International Corporation's Abu Dhabi Branch awarded project management consultancy services contract by Abu Dhabi Polymers Company Limited (Borouge) for major expansion of the Borouge petrochemicals facility at Ruwais, United Arab Emirates. Borouge is a joint venture between Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and Copenhagen-based Borealis A/S.


Kazanorgsintez Award Technip Ethylene Expansion Project25/07/2005
Technip awarded ethylene capacity expansion project by Kazanorgsintez in Kazan in the Russian Federation. Project involves modernisation and capacity expansion of three existing ethylene plants at Kazan. Technip's office in the Netherlands will provide technology for the expansion and perform the engineering and supply of the furnace and provide advisory services for the construction/start-up phase.


Aker Kvaerner Wins World-scale Polyolefins Project in Saudi Arabia26/07/2005

KBR Awarded EnCana Contract for Foster Creek Oil Field05/08/2005
KBR awarded its first contract from Canadian oil company EnCana. The award, valued at CAD $12 million, is for 19 steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) modules for the Foster Creek oil field in North East Alberta.
