Fluor to complete Luna Energy Facility located near Deming, New Mexico. Tucson Electric Power Company, Phelps Dodge Energy Services, LLC, and a development subsidiary of PNM Resources choose Fluor to finish work at the 570-megawatt, combined cycle power plant, which was 50 percent complete when construction was stopped by original owner in 2002.

CB&I Wins Turnkey Contract for LNG Storage Terminal12/04/2005
CB&I awarded lump-sum turnkey contract design and construction of storage tanks at a new LNG import terminal in Fujian Province, Peoples Republic of China. Work scope includes turnkey engineering, procurement and construction of two full containment LNG storage tanks, including deep foundations, tank topsides, and electrical, instrumentation, equipment and piping to grade.


Hydro Planning Windpower Project in Sokndal13/04/2005
Hydro inform Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) that the company has started planning a possible wind farm with more than 50 wind turbines at Tellenes in the Norwegian county of Sør Rogaland. Project comprises five possible wind power sites surrounding the mining area operated by Titania AS. Majority of project lies in Sokndal municipality, and the rest in Lund.

Three engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contracts worth a total of just over NOK 3.1 billion awarded by Statoil for Statfjord late life project to Aker Kvaerner, Smedvig and Vetco Aibel.

Smedvig Engineering awarded letter of intent by Statoil for modification of drilling facilities on Statfjord B and C. Contract is part of Statoil's late life development project of the Statfjord field with a duration of approximately three and a half years.

Rig Project for Smedvig and Eastern Drilling15/04/2005
Smedvig enters into agreements with Eastern Drilling ASA to participate with 10 percent ownership share in company as well as construction supervision, marketing and operations management of new 6th generation semi-submersible drilling unit. The semi-submersible drilling rig will be constructed by Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea.

Stolt Offshore Awarded Hydro Export Pipeline Contract29/04/2005
Stolt Offshore awarded contract by Hydro Oil and Energy for export pipeline from Njord FPU to Asgard transportation pipeline. Contract is for installation of 40 kilometers of twelve inch diameter pipe together with design, fabrication and installation of associated structures, trenching, rock dumping and tie-in of the pipeline.


Technip Awarded Gulf LNG Energy FEED Contract29/04/2005
Technip awarded design-phase contract for new LNG import terminal by Gulf LNG Energy LLC. The contract covers the front end engineering (FEED) of the terminal planned to be located in Pascagoula, Mississippi, USA.


Aker Kvaerner Wins Anadarko and Dominion Subsea Contract03/05/2005
Anadarko Petroleum and Dominion Oil and Gas award Aker Kvaerner subsea umbilical and production control contract for their Independence Development. Umbilical system to be manufactured and delivered out of KOP's umbilical plant in Mobile, Alabama.


Fluor to Provide Project Services for Shell Nederland Chemie BV03/05/2005
Fluor awarded contract from Shell Nederland Chemie BV (SNC) to provide engineering and project management services at two chemical plants in Pernis and Moerdijk, the Netherlands. Fluor to manage and execute the work from its local office in Bergen op Zoom and have small site teams located on both sites.

Smedvig To Build New Semi-tender with Keppel FELS19/05/2005
Smedvig enters into agreement with Keppel FELS in Singapore for the purpose of building new semi-submersible self-erecting tender rig (semi-tender). Agreement with Keppel FELS is based on principle that Keppel shall build and own the semi-submersible hull, and Smedvig shall own the derrick equipment set.

ScottishPower's PPM Energy Acquire And Build Shiloh Wind Project23/05/2005
ScottishPower's competitive US energy subsidiary, PPM Energy, is to acquire and build the 150 MW Shiloh wind project in northern California. The fully permitted Shiloh project in Solano County, California, was acquired from enXco, an affiliate of EDF Energies Nouvelles of France.

Technip, leader in consortium with JGC and Tecnicas Reunidas, awarded by Vietnam Oil & Gas Corporation (Petrovietnam) lump sum turnkey contract for Vietnam's first crude oil refinery to be located in Dung Quat, south of Da Nang in central Vietnam.
