Foster Wheeler Awarded FGD Construction Contract

Foster Wheeler Ltd. U.S. subsidiary in its Global Power Group has been awarded a contract for construction of a flue gas desulfurization (FGD) system at American Electric Power Company, Inc.'s (AEP) Mountaineer Plant, located near New Haven, West Virginia, USA. FGD systems, also known as "scrubbers," are installed at power generation facilities to reduce sulfur dioxide emissions.
