Jacobs Receives Los Alamos Laboratory Contract Extension
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has received a one-year contract extension from the University of California to continue providing architect-engineering (A-E) services to the U.S. Department of Energy's Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). The University of California operates LANL.
This one-year contract extension, which does not have a ceiling, allows Jacobs to perform work as requested by the University of California. The contract has four additional option years.
Jacobs, which has supported LANL continuously since 1997, provides A-E services for nuclear facilities other than reactors as well as non-nuclear facilities and infrastructure. Jacobs previously worked with LANL in the 1980s to design research facilities such as the Space Sciences Laboratory and more recently provided project management services for LANL's environmental restoration program.
