Jacobs Awarded Air Liquide Contract at Shell's Pernis Refinery

A Jacobs Engineering Group subsidiary has received a contract from Air Liquide to provide engineering, procurement, construction management, and commissioning services for a cogeneration facility Air Liquide is developing for Shell Nederland Raffinaderij B.V. at Shell's facility in Pernis, the Netherlands.

The cogeneration facility will help reduce the Shell refinery's atmospheric emissions while delivering 700 tons of steam per hour and 300 megawatts of electrical power per hour. This project is part of the Pernis refinery's Emission Reduction SNR 2007 program.
