AMEC Clough JV Selected for Offshore Services Contract

AMEC logoAMEC and joint-venture partner Clough have been selected as the preferred tenderer for an integrated services contract by Woodside Energy Ltd of Australia.

The 50/50 joint venture will now enter the next stage of the procurement process to reach final agreement with Woodside by September 2005. Subject to agreement being reached, a three-year contract will begin in January 2006.

The contract will involve the project management, integrated engineering, operational maintenance, modification and supply chain integration services for Woodside's oil assets in the Wanaea Cossack Lambert Hermes (Cossack Pioneer FPSO), Enfield, Legendre and Laminaria-Corallina (Northern Endeavour FPSO) fields. Future growth opportunities may flow from Woodside's new facilities as they commence production.

AMEC and Clough are currently working together to provide operations and maintenance services for the Bayu-Undan development, South East Asia, for ConocoPhillips. AMEC is also currently providing design, engineering and project management services for the topsides of Woodside Energy's Enfield Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility in joint-venture with Fluor.
