IGL Sign News Deal With Petronas
IGL Oil and Gas Consultants based in Aberdeen has signed a new deal with Malaysian group Petronas. IGL has secured a licence to provide services to every oil and gas company operated by, or in joint venture with, state-owned Petronas, which comprises 93 wholly owned subsidiaries, 19 partly owned companies and 55 associated businesses. Petronas is vested with the management and development of all oil and gas resources in Malaysia, including those operating under production-sharing contracts. An IGL Spokesman said it was not yet known how much the deal with Petronas is potentially worth. The agreement will double IGL's Malaysian workforce from 10 to 20 within a year.
