Expro to Expand Employee Numbers
Expro's Aberdeen base of around 630 of the company's European workforce of nearly 800, could be boosted by up to 30 new engineering staff by the end of 2004 because of recent contract awards.
Expro have won its biggest Russian contract - a deal worth around £33million over 14 months - to provide an early production facility for the Chayvo drilling and production site on the east side of Sakhalin Island.
The contract was awarded by Exxon Neftegas, an affiliate of ExxonMobil Corporation and operator of the Sakhalin-1 consortium.
