Schlumberger Job Losses in Aberdeen
Schlumberger is planning up to 70 job losses from their 1500 workforce in Aberdeen following a drop in the company's expected workload. Around 60 people were made redundant by Schlumberger in 2003.
Employees have been notified of a number of jobs potentially at risk of redundancy due to a downturn in forecast business in the North Sea region, resulting in a restructuring of operations.
